You can either
spend a whole lot or barely anything at all on creating and marketing your
mobile app, but one thing’s for sure: if you play your cards right, the end
will always be worth the means of getting there. However, this means that you
have a lot to do before your app can be discovered and used.
Search Engine Optimization
To do efficient SEO or search
engine optimization, you need to have a page on your website dedicated to the
app you want to promote. Then, make sure to place links to the page where it can
easily be found (you should have one right on your homepage).
App Store Optimization
As with SEO, your app needs to have keyword-optimized title, description
and tags so you can easily direct organic search to your app. This way, when
people visit Android or iOS app stores and key in your keyword, there’s a good chance
that they’ll find your app.
Social Media Optimization
Next, make use of social media to spread the word about your app. Post
content about it on sites like Facebook and link it to your app page or the
download page in app stores. Make sure that your content is engaging enough for
people to want to share it—and your app—themselves.
